Football Program: The Senior Barons football team is a competitive football team with players in grades 10-12. The team plays in the North Saskatchewan Football League. The league consists of North Battleford, Prince Albert Carleton, Prince Albert St. Mary’s, and Martensville. The program has a tradition of winning provincial and league championships. The team starts practices on August 22nd and the provincial final is in early November. The level of dedication is high as the players practice four days a week with one game a week. The football program does not receive money from the school division therefore the funds are raised through fees and fundraising. The football team typically has 50 players on the roster. As we are a competitive team the playing time will not be equal. On road games it is not a certainty that we can take all players. Selection criteria will be based on attendance, ability, and effort.
