SR Barons Football Program: The senior Barons football team has players in grades 10-12 who play competitive high school football. The LCHS Barons are a proud program with a rich history that spans decades. The team competes in the North Saskatchewan Football League, which includes teams from North Battleford, Prince Albert Carleton, Prince Albert St. Mary’s, and Martensville. The Barons have won numerous league championships and claimed the Alberta provincial championship twice. Many players have gone on to play at the post-secondary level, and many others have developed into leaders within the community who now give back to the program. The program prides itself on the camaraderie that players feel toward each other and the passion that both players and coaches express throughout the program. Spring camp runs the first week of June. Practices in the summer begin on August 21st, and the provincial final takes place in early November.
