Principal's Message - May 2021

Principal's Message

Hello Everyone,

It's hard to believe, but we are on the home stretch to finishing off our 2020/2021 school year as there are only 29 more school days before quad 4 final exams.  That being said, there is much work to be done to finish off courses as that translates to approximately 60 hours of instruction remaining. It is important that students remain motivated to finish off the school year strong by engaging in their coursework during their at home learning days.  Our quad 4 Parent Teacher conferences will be taking place from May 17 - 19.  Teachers will be reaching out in the coming week or so to arrange a time to connect. Our last School Community council meeting will be taking place on May 11th at 7 p.m. and will be once again facilitated via Zoom. If you wish to attend that evening, please contact the school and we will have the meeting link sent out to you on May 11th.

We are looking forward to celebrating our LCHS graduates of 2021! Our cap and gown ceremony will take place on June 24th at LCHS in a drive thru format. This event will be livestreamed so those who are unable to attend can still watch our graduates walk across the stage.  More details will be shared as we approach that special day!

Have a great month!
